Links with Niassa

The link was established in 2006 following the visit to Niassa by Dinos Kousoulou (from St Andrew’s) in August 2005. Dinos spent a month assisting Bishop Mark to set up office systems and procedures.
The link is a joint one (at the London end) between St Andrew's and Holy Trinity. We still have much to do to build up the link with the parish of Quelimane and its priest, Revd Eugenio Mepo. Both London churches have given funds and we are now raising more in response to the critical situation from the flooding.
Communications have been difficult and direct email contact with Eugenio has broken down, so most of the contact has been at second hand through Mark or Helen. However, I am sure we shall get there in time and by the grace of God. It is certainly useful to hear and share experiences with other London parishes through the ALMA reps network.
