- There has been a continuing insurgency in the Northern Mozambique province of Cabo Delgado. On 30 March 2021, ALMA launched an appeal for funds to help internally displaced people. There was a Cabo Delgado News article on the Diocese of London Website.

- In December 2019 and January 2020, Mozambique experienced more weather problems. There were high winds in Murrupula in Nampula Diocese, and floods in the Diocese of Niassa.
- In March and April 2019, Mozambique was hit by two devastating cyclones, Idai and Kenneth. There were reports of the impact from the church in Mozambique (here…, here… and here…) and accounts of the response in the Diocese of London (here… and here…).
- In February 2019, there were changes to the ALMA partner dioceses of Angola and Nampula. In March, ALMA Bishop Rob made a flying visit to Nampula, Northern Mozambique to celebrate one of ALMA’s two newest companion link Dioceses.

- In July 2017, Bishop Carlos Matsinhe, Bishop of Lebombo, led a pilgrimage of 26 people from his diocese to London. Amongst the many places visited, they were present at the ALMA Sunday service at St Paul’s Cathedral on 9 July.

- Bishop Vicente Msosa was enthroned as Bishop of Niassa on 1 April 2017. The Diocese of London was represented by the Bishop for ALMA, Bishop Rob Wickham. Read more …

- The first ALMA Tutudesks from our 2014-15 special project arrived for Christmas 2015. 2,200 ALMA Tutudesks were delivered – 1,100 to Maputo (for Maciene and other schools in Lebombo Diocese) and 1,100 to Nampula (for Nacala and other schools in Niassa Diocese). Read more …

- In September 2013, Twyford CE High School completed a highly successful three-way exchange programme with its link partner Maciene School in the Gaza province of Mozambique and Yue Xiu Middle School in Kunming, China. The link with Maciene was arranged through ALMA. Read more …

- On 19 April 2013 the Bishop of Angola told us that the Diocesan Secretary the Revd. Nunes Pedro had died that morning.
- On 25 January 2013, we heard from our friends in Mozambique about the severe flooding there. ALMA made an immediate donation of £2000 to assist with church based flood relief. Read more …
- The Bishop of Kensington, Paul Williams, visited the Dioceses of Niassa and Lebombo in Mozambique in October 2012. He joined Bishop Mark van Koevering, Bishop of Niassa, in the Confirmation of 70 candidates at St John the Baptist, Metangula. He was also present at the Lebombo Diocese Family Weekend in Maciene with Bishop Dinis Sengulane, Bishop of Lebombo.
- The Bishop of London, Richard Chartres, sent a message to Bishop André and all the clergy and people of the Diocese of Angola to mark their 10th anniversary in August 2012. Read more …
